How Green Was My Valley is a 1941 Hollywood film set in the Rhonda Valley showing "Welsh Miner's lives" -Well a dramatised version. But this classic of cinema inspired our green yarn.
How Green Was My Valley the yarn, is a warm, 4 thread spun wool made to order for us using 100% wool from across the UK. It is approximately DK weight, and made in small batches. We find this an excellent hand knitting wool, great for crochet and also useful for felting uses.
