Y Ddraig Goch - The Red Dragon of Wales.

Rustic spun yarn. "Soft ply" so we recommend you twist this slightly while using. Perfect for felting. We based this on older Celtic and Nordic wools, inspired by historical knitwear and in part on Icelandic style yarn. We wanted something welsh, distinct and acknowledging the heritage of the wool makers in Wales of the past. Not quite DK weight, Not Quite Arran, and can be slightly inconsistent in places adding to the charm of your work.

Soft, luxurious and deep red. We work with farms across Wales to purchase -over market rate- sheep's fleeces then work with wool processors, carders and spinners across Wales and England to produce this beautiful yarn.
